About Us
The Griffin Road Church of Christ is a community of believers dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe in the authority of the Bible and strive to apply its principles in our daily lives. Our mission is to share the love of Christ with those around us and to help others grow in their faith.
At Griffin Road Church of Christ, we offer a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of our members and the community. We provide Bible classes for all ages, worship services, and opportunities for fellowship and outreach. We also support various local and international ministries, including disaster relief efforts and missionary work.
Our congregation is made up of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, but we are united in our commitment to serving God and others. Whether you are new to the area or searching for a church home, we welcome you to join us as we seek to grow in our relationship with Christ and make a positive impact on the world around us.
All GRCC ministries must meet the following criteria: CLARITY, MOVEMENT, ALIGNMENT, AND FOCUS.
Clarity: Our mission and process are clear and simple. We make disciples by loving God, loving others, and serving all.
Movement: Our discipleship structure is designed to move people through the process, beginning with learning to love God, then learning to love other, and finally actively serving all. The point of entry into the process is worship (love God). From there participants are encouraged to join a small group (Bible class, home group, support group, etc.). Finally, participants are asked to commit to service on a ministry team.
Alignment: In order to maximize energy and resources everything must align with the process of loving God, loving others, and serving all.
Focus: The focus of every ministry is to urge members to get involved in the worship services, to connect with others in a small group, and to commit to service on a ministry team. Focusing on this simple process means saying “No” to many other things.
Ministry Descriptions:
Building & Grounds – Care & Maintenance

Discipleship/Small Groups – Matthew 28:18-20
Summary statement: The Discipleship Ministry will help accomplish the GRCC mission and purpose by intentionally forming personal relationships with individuals, both churched and unchurched, that focus on connecting them to Jesus and His followers, so that together we might all be fully equipped and fully functioning disciples of Christ.

Education (equipping, teaching, mentoring) – Ephesians 4:11-16
Summary statement: The Education Ministry will help accomplish the GRCC mission and purpose by modeling Christ to all through coordinated, age-appropriate learning experiences in order to guide them toward a progressively more mature faith.

Fellowship – Acts 2:42-47
Summary statement: The Fellowship Ministry will help accomplish the GRCC mission and purpose by engaging the Griffin Road family as a whole and promoting an atmosphere of belonging and camaraderie among its various members.

Involvement – Romans 12:4-5; Titus 2:14
Summary statement: The Involvement Ministry will help accomplish the GRCC mission and purpose by helping people to become “unbusy”, equipping them to serve in the kingdom of God, for His glory, for building up the church and carrying out the ministry of Christ. The purpose of this ministry is discipleship and spiritual formation.

Missions – Matthew 28:19-20

Summary statement: The Outreach / Evangelism Ministry will help accomplish the GRCC mission and purpose through the development and promotions of outreach/evangelistic activities of the GRCC family.

Ministry coordinator: Erasto Valdez
• Outreach and evangelism: Outreach consists of extending services and benefits to a wider section of the population. So, outreach is the means by which the GRCC family engages the world with the goal of presenting the good news of Jesus Christ (evangelism) to the unchurched in ways that are both relevant and rational. The ultimate focus and objective of this ministry is spiritual in nature—eternally saving lives.
Worship – Psalm 95:1-2
Summary statement: The Worship Ministry will help accomplish the GRCC mission and purpose by creatively designing corporate responses to the person and work of God that are generationally
